Job Description

Our Talent Team is on the hunt for a Sales Representative who is brilliant at the basics to join our Baking Division. The role will be based in Tzaneen and report to the Sales Manager.
The Sales Representative will be responsible for serving customers by selling products and meeting customer needs.


Minimum Requirements    


Matric.
Degree in Sales or Management or equivalent will be an added advantage.
2 years’ experience in a sales function required.
Valid EB driver’s licence (Code 8).
Computer literacy.


Knowledge:


Business unit processes.
Employment and labour legislation.
Customer & personnel services.
Sales & marketing.


Duties & Responsibilities    

Set sales budgets volumes monthly will be achieved:


Monthly action plans to be provided and implementation of a minimum of 4 displays per month.
Compile monthly action plans to achieve targets by customer.
A set route list will be followed weekly.
Distribute and share sales information, sales statistics, etc. weekly.


Promotions:


Implement promotional plan to achieve volumes.
Manage promotions.


Monthly Actions:


To achieve or exceed the monthly sales budgets.
To demonstrate and promote the sales of bread.


Objectives and Key Tasks:


To develop a regular calling cycle with all traders in the area and continually canvass for new business.
Continually ensure correct merchandising and otherwise promote the display of all company products in all outlets, using all displays material.
To identify opportunities to increase sales via existing customers and obtaining new customers in conjunction with or without the agents and sales staff.
To maximize sales and grow our market share.
To establish and maintain excellent customer service levels.
